Haveriggholme Farm is situated within 110 acres of prime Lake District Land (we also have a small river with fishing, Sea Trout and Salmon seasonal) and is located 2 miles from the hamlet of Torver and about 4 miles from the village of Coniston.

During your stay you will have full access to the 110 acres which are ideal for painting, birdwatching, walking and other relaxing activities. There is also Horse Riding nearby and we can accommodate horses at the farm (turn out only) for those who wish to bring your own horse with you.

There are many quiet country walks throughout the area and the fells around Haveriggholme are an ideal "adventure Playground" for all ages.

There is easy access to two bridle ways from the farm.

Local lift and pick up service can be arranged for those special nights.

Torver has two excellent pubs - The Wilsons Arms, which specialises in good quality English pub food and ales and The Church House Inn which is now firmly established as one of Cumbria's finest eating houses.

Both are full of atmosphere and during busy periods sometimes offer "live" music from local musicians.

Coniston is a beautiful Lakeland Village with a "Co-op" supermarket, butchers, newsagents, garage, Information Centre and a range of smaller shops.

There is also a boating centre where it is possible to hire boats of all sizes and take part in plenty of other outdoor activities.

We believe that Haveriggholme is the ideal holiday destination for a peaceful break in a secluded but not remote location and we will endeavour to meet all your requirements.
